It gives us immense pleasure to inform you that Indian Psychiatric Society-Assam State Branch, is officially going to launch a new and improved Website. It makes the occasion for more joyous, as it is going to take place on the Occasion of The Golden Anniversary Celebrations of IPS-ASB & the 33rd Annual Conference of IPS- ASB.
No one can deny the importance of a website containing varied, useful and reliable information in our modern world, where we are increasingly becoming dependent on accessing information on a single click of a button.
As in case of any form of existence, where something comes from nothing, and then everything from that something. In that context, it is our duty and responsibility to nurture the website and make it abundant with relevant information and knowledge. For instance, we can contribute to the office of the Hony Secy , IPS –ASB any material in context to the activities of IPS Assam for over the fifty years, that might be in our possession. This is our sincere request to archive all the old histories related to yesteryears of the society. The website aims to store all the new and old information.
This verse from the revered Shri Bhagwat Gita, suggest that with Knowledge and heartful submission to it, one a may rise gradually from mere living entity, to the highest Spiritual status.
